Sandy Nadenbousch, the owner of Naden Civil, is proud of his family history and in particular of his father’s tenacity and determination. Ian Nandenbousch or “Noddy” as his mates liked to call him, loved heavy machinery, dirt, rock and a challenging project! It was no surprise to anyone that knew Ian, that earthmoving and excavation became such a dominant feature of his life. Ian lived and breathed it.
Sandy’s father’s legacy lives on today as he passed down the family expertise of the excavation industry to him. Sandy began his own earthmoving business in 1997 and now 20 years on, is still going strong. “I can’t help it.” Explains Sandy. “It’s in my blood”.
This multi-generational business started from humble beginnings initially via haymaking contracting and land clearing jobs which progressed through to virtually every type of earthmoving you can imagine. Over 50 kilometres of dual carriageway freeways built by a sole operator come family business defied all the odds.
“Work hard, be reliable and make sure you’re a decent bloke to deal with” were the core values that Ian taught Sandy. These values are still guiding principles for Naden Civil today.
Sandy and his team have worked for many years as a trusted supplier, with Melbourne’s leading contractors in residential subdivisions, industrial subdivisions, wetland creation, land reclamation, airport infrastructure including Taxiways and site Preparation.
Naden Civil’s skilled operators are long term employees with the expertise to tackle challenging jobs and work efficiently to get the job done. Sandy’s is proud of his team’s reliable & collaborative approach and their strong work ethic to make sure that they deliver great outcomes to their clients.
